Since 2013, Ponzi has been committed to being energy autonomous by saving traditional sources, using a 200 kW photovoltaic system. The separate collection of over twenty materials and raw materials is active, the materials are disposed of and recycled through a partnership with a storage and disposal centre. The separate waste collection, recycling and recovery of aluminum promoted and pursued by Ponzi bring numerous benefits to the environment. Aluminum recycling is a particularly important activity as, through its melting and subsequent extrusion, it allows you to save 95% of the energy needed to produce it. In this way the environment and its important natural resources are safeguarded. The aluminum disposed of and reused by Ponzi represents an example of Circular Economy. At the end of their life cycle, disused fixtures and processing waste are sent for recovery and recycling, thus creating new aluminum bars obtained from recycled waste, which maintain the same technical and mechanical properties, guaranteeing eco-sustainability. The result entails not only an enormous saving of resources, but also a corresponding ecological advantage, with a reduction in emissions compared to primary production and no risk of environmental impact. In Ponzi production, the recycled product is synonymous with sustainability and respect for the environment, preserving it for future generations.
