During their restyling, many hotels choose automatic doors, curtain walls and Ponzi windows which help to convey the specific and distinctive character of the hotels in which they are installed. In fact, what designers increasingly want to achieve is transparency, which can translate into a sort of communication with the outside. Transparency therefore for greater communication between the structure and man, between architecture and the outside. Ponzi automatic sliding doors, made with large mirrors and minimal profiles, help to recreate this desire for functionality and harmony that is increasingly frequent in modern-day architecture. An example of this is the Cristallo hotel in Senigallia which in its restyling embraces this philosophy by installing two Ponzi automatic doors for the main entrance with large glass doors and Slim profiles, positioned at an angle to each other, creating an original solution in entrance. The combination of the thin profile with the standard size of the windows underlines the transparency that is desired in the entrance. Also for the side part of the hotel, automatic sliding doors in four very high panels with Slim profiles were used to emphasize the entry of light into the hall and create a continuum with the facade. For one of the side entrances, a Ponzi TSA automatic telescopic door was used, which frees the compartment by 2/3 and facilitates the passage of people, but also the entry of luggage.
